My mom sent me this article this morning. It's pretty standard, basic advice that anyone should follow when planning a wedding. It did raise a question for me: did any of you get wedding insurance? I'm already doing the vetting and references, but I am wondering - if you got insurance was it worth it and what did it cover?

I could go off on a major venue rant here but I will save you that and just get to my question... The venue requires 3 million worth of liability insurance for our vendors- the bartender and caterer we want to use do not have a high enough policy. I googled for awhile and the highest personal event insurance I could find was for 2 million. Anyone ( Read more... )

Did anyone on here purchase this or (god forbid) have to use it?

I work in insurance so I'm naturally fascinated by it, but the website doesn't give much information unless you sign up for it, and I was just curious how others felt about it.

Anyone know what it really covers?
